Come back again with me on my blog. This time I got an assignment about Caption Text.

before we move on to the task, I would like to show an explanation of the Caption Text.

CAPTION TEXT 

Short text above or below an image in a book, magazine, or newspaper that describes the image or explains what the person in it did or said.

THE SOCIAL FUNCTION 
To provide basic information about an object. Even though it's short, writing a caption can't be arbitrary. It takes language that is interesting but still informative so that what is in the picture can be conveyed properly.

THE GENERIC STRUCTURE OF CAPTION TEXT
1. Opening. The opening is usually written in a larger size to attract the attention of the reader. 
2. Content. contains concise information to explain the image. 
3. Closing. The closing section is usually in the form of additional information that has not been conveyed in the content.
